Take your care for animals to the next level! Campers will dive deeper into animal welfare, behavior, and advocacy. They’ll learn about overpopulation, the importance of shelters and rescues, and how to support animals in need. Through interactive lessons and projects, campers will explore careers in animal care, understand the responsibilities of pet ownership, and practice advocacy skills like creating posters and enrichment activities for shelter pets. Special Notes: Day 4: Hands-on shelter visit (parents provide transportation) to observe daily operations, meet staff, and participate in enrichment projects. Day 5: Reflection and career day back on campus to discuss experiences and meet animal professionals and rescuers.
