Discover the stunning Bayou Bend Collection and Gardens, the former home of Houston philanthropist Ima Hogg. This historic mansion showcases one of the world’s premier collections of American decorative arts and paintings, all nestled within 14 acres of beautifully maintained gardens in the River Oaks neighborhood.

Please note: There are steps at the end of the suspension bridge and leading to the mansion entrance. No elevator is available to the second floor. The mansion tour is one hour, with no seating inside. Benches are available in the gardens. After the guided mansion tour, enjoy time to explore the gardens at your leisure. Following, we will enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. Please note that the restaurant may be cashless, so we recommend bringing a debit or credit card just in case. Lunch is at your own expense.
