Kids Health and Nutrition (Ages 8-16)

This interactive course will provide health education that will allowing youth the opportunity to acquire knowledge, attitudes, and skills needed to adopt and maintain healthy behaviors. Students will learn about basic macronutrients and vitamins, how to identify them on food labels and learn food proportions using MY Plate techniques. Students will also learn the importance of physical movement and participate in activities to help gain more practical knowledge on making healthier food selections.
